The base grind starts again.
The base grind starts again. Snow, slush, ice, rollers and night lights until March, maybe even April. For now, as the trails thaw out, I look for gravel to ride to prepare for the spring gravel racing season. Tan lines will come enough and 65 cent can Cokes in highway 40, decending from the hills.

March thaw. What it felt
March thaw. What it felt like on January 17 out on the roads. That spring smell too soon, but I have summer in my pockets. I feel like a circus bear on a unicycle juggling chainsaws sipping a beer. If the gas would just run out. The unicycle needs to move forward, not back and forth.
